Project CARS
« on: June 08, 2012, 05:31:09 pm »

Wondering if anyone has ever heard of it.

It's a racing sim being developed by Slightly Mad Studios , and is currently in the Pre-Alpha stage. It currently has 20 tracks, including Bristol, Imola, Monza, Suzuka, Spa, Hockenheim, and Laguna Seca, and has more tracks slated to be added, such as Monaco and the Nurburgring. It also has about 20 cars, including F1 cars from the 1960's, 70's, 80's, and 2000's, as well as the Zonda R, several track cars from Racer and Caterham, and Ariel Atoms, with cars such as the Ford Mark IV, Formula Ford, 2012 Ford Focus COT, and the Pagani Hyura to be added.

Here are some videos of it:
Trailer: Project CARS (Faster, Harder, Stronger!) (DX11) (1080p) HD!

Project CARS - INSANITY

Trailer: Project CARS (Future of Simracing) (DX11) (1080p) HD!

Project CARS - Revolution

The game is still Pre-Alpha and lacks multiplayer, and is currently kind of glitchy, but I'm looking for people to possibly play it with later.

PS. They are getting physics advice from a certain tame racing driver.

No; right now the cheapest way to be able to test it is if you pay 10 Euros, but if you like it you then get a 10 Euro discount on the actual game.

Yeah; the action is better, but the graphics and sound in the videos represent the actual game.

The graphics are amazing so is the detail, the side mirrors even bounce. I'm going to fork the 10-15 USD to test it.

Just warning you that some of the tracks and cars are incomplete, and look half finished because of the pre-Alpha state of the game.

Yeah. 10-15 dollars isn't much anyways.

I heard about it about two months ago from the Rigs Of Rods Forums. I liked the look of it a lot.

Also, it must be said that Team Lotus now is going to have some cars in-game.
