My friend told me it was a good language to learn if I want to make a 3D game!

Don't get too confused on pointers, they're actually a lot more simple than they seem. :P

Not really any difference if you're talking about experience, though. JavaScript and PHP share many syntax similarities with C++.

3D Game is quie difficult, you need to be willing to make a game. Most console games are programmed in C++ They use alot of coding though.

Maya is a 3D design program, not an engine.

...I thought Unity's a lot more indepth. Like... a LOT.
It's been used to make a crapton of notable games. Their showcase is quite pretty.
