DON'T LET THE BATTERY DIE

When it dies, the battery is a pain in the ass to charge again. You have to boot to safe mode, then select power off so it doesn't try to turn on while it's recharging.

Then you have to wait 2 or 3 hours for it to fully charge, then turn it back on and use it again.

Then it takes forever to get back to it's normal charging state.

So yeah.

I've messed around with Nexus 7 tablets and also put one on charge after it died. Never ran into any of this.

It's a problem with a shit ton of devices though. Just be careful.

Asus and Google even tested it to see if they could replicate. They've been able to.

Sounds more like firmware rather than hardware.
