Take the Raspberry Pi or similar product

grab a mini bluetooth adapter

make an android App for controlling the GPIO through bluetooth

grab some 120v switches (the kind that toggles state via low voltage)

hardwire this beast into some home electrical circuits

control your house's electronics from your smartphone

ADDITIONAL IDEAS

Use wifi adapter instead of bluetooth and program some stuff to control it over data or wifi

Lol,

But if it's powered via Bluetooth you will need to be within a certain range of the Raspberry Pi. So mister-home-DDOSer will need to come all the way up to your doorstep or something.
