Tame Impala is what I've been listening to a lot of recently. They make Psychedelic Rock, and they remind me a lot of post '66 Beatles. They're definitely one of my favorite bands. They hail from Perth, Australia. Check them out.

Whatever I listen to from them, any song, it totally takes my mind off whatever is stressing me out. Every song is incredible. I don't even do drugs. They have two outstanding albums out at the moment, Innerspeaker and Lonerism

Probably The Beatles,

George Harrison had one of the best melodic guitar styles, it changed throughout their career too jumping from the chord-based Chet Atkins style in the early days. To the mid-days, where he started to get interested in slide and acoustic solos.

Then the late days, were most of his stuff was bluesy sounding but still followed a normal pentatonic scale. Just loads of bends with a glassy sound, possibly running the guitar through some sort of filter to get that glassy bluesy sound.

I don't know how to explain this other than it just sounds awesome and the lyrics actually have meaning in the songs and are about historical battles. Not to mention even though the band is Swedish, they still sound bloody awesome - singer, instruments and everything.

It's definitely good if I can get my best friend to like it too within a few minutes.
