I don't even think the ROBLOX site would load on EDGE, it would take like 5 minutes or something. EDGE is like 80-100 Kbps, the only thing it's good for is texting and calls.

Using phone radios on an airplane is illegal in pretty much every country, that's why your phone probably has an AIRPLANE MODE option. You can use the in-plane WiFi which some airlines offer, but otherwise, nope, forget it.


In-plane WiFi is 3G based and does like 500 kbits, so don't expect ROBLOX to work at all.
