Those games are nothing like. One is a cartoonish FPS based on finding weapons and recycling them for more weapons, and the other one is a realistic FPS that is recycled every year.

Well there are 2 teams; Red and Blue.
You play different modes, one of them is CTF.
You can be 1 of nine classes of your own choice;
Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, Medic, Sniper or Spy.
You can find random items and hats in-game.
I pretty much always go Spy. He can disguise as one of the opposing team members, and one hit kill backstab.
It's really fun.

On the contrary, they are very similar.

○ Both are generally played by those in their teenage years.

○ Both are recognized as the best games ever made by their respective fanbases.

○ Said fanbases hate each other's game preference.

○ Both's developers are considered to be infallible by their respective fanbases.

○ Both games receive massive praise from their respective fanbases when any content update is released, even if it requires money (this includes Team Fortress 2 items exclusive to the store, such as tools)

○ Both games only receive a revision that actually modifies any form of gameplay every year to few years.

○ Both games have thousands of absolutely pointless Sony Vegas videos regarding gameplay.

○ Both games are massively defended by their respective fanbases, and if insulted; anger to the degree represented in this thread and beyond are exhibited.

○ Both games have absolutely terrible 'cheat detection' systems.
