In my time of playing League of Legends for 3 years I will say that since I joined, as opposed to now its easier to understand why someone wouldn't be interested in the game. I joined when there was maybe 60 champions, and as of now there's roughly 120.
Its a lot to take in and learn, and the experience is very frustrating from the start. You'll never know how to play great if you don't understand every champion, because soon or later they'll pop up and you're just going to fiddle with your thumbs having no idea what the fuck they do or what you should do.
