Should I buy Counter-Strike?
« on: September 09, 2012, 07:58:07 am »

I have some questions:
Which one should I buy?
How addictive is it?
How hard is it in comparison to TF2, or CoD?

Personally, I think you should be prepared for what's coming to you.
I recommend a fast computer, some knowledge on the basics, and some FAST reflexes.
Either one, CS:GO or CS:S have some experienced players.
If you want to play one that has smoother graphics, CS:GO, if you still have a deep passion for Source games, CS:S.

@above
CS:GO and CS:S both use Source, but different versions.

I would get CS: GO and/or CS source. If you going to compare it to most things it would resemble Call of duty's S & D but a better version of it. I recommend CS: GO overall though due to Gmod's new engine.

Do not argue about games most of the time they are different.
EX. Call of duty V. Halo
Both VERY different.

The Counter-Strike series is an amazing series and I recommend it strongly! It can be a very challenging game at first, but you can warm up within around, I'd say 5 hours of gameplay as a fresh player.
Right now, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive seems to be more "New Player" friendly, as the bots seem easier in Solo mode, and a lot of people are still getting used to it since it's a new game.
Strongly suggested!
