Does Shedletsky really own these forums?
Yes he does.  If you're coming here to stalk/communicate with him, then you will be severely disappointed. He is a very busy guy and has very little time to work with IronNoob, other than checking in and asking opinions every now and then.
Is that really stickmasterluke?
Yes, yes it is. Can you talk to him? No.  He's very inactive on IronNoob.
Can we curse here?
Yes, you are allowed to curse here. This being said, you are not allowed to excessively curse.  You wouldn't want to ruin your first impression, would you?
Should I make a "Hi I'm New" thread?
No. Plain and simple.
Should I Advertise my group/place here?
On groups: No.
On Places: It really depends.  "Come to my place pl0x.' will get you flamed, however, "Check out this project I'm working on" will not.
