Low Budget Computer Build - 2013
« on: May 16, 2013, 03:30:11 pm »

Okay, so I'm making a budget computer build, and by budget I mean under $400 or even just around $350

So far I've spent USD $97 on the build.

That $97 was spent on the case, PSU, keyboard

As for processor and motherboard (depending on which processor I choose) are undecided. But I'm thinking of the A-Series of APU's by AMD, they're dirt cheap and offer decent processing and graphics power for the price.

This is the first build I've done for myself in 5 years. The last build I did was when I was 10 and that was just a motherboard, RAM and processor change for a prebuilt computer of ours.

Here's the PCPartpicker list, http://pcpartpicker.com/p/XTYM

Linking me to just the website or did you make a build? Because this isn't the link to it.

I think he wanted you to list the whole build there.

I forgot to mention, I already have the HDD from a different computer...or laptop, I should say.

I was thinking a slightly cheaper ASRock like this one, http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-a55pro3 since it covers most of the things I'm looking for, and more. That is if I'm going with the APU build.

Says 81 dollars on yours and 75 on mine. Dunno, maybe it's depending on location?

Experimental for the most part, mostly to see how well it'll put up with games.

I also need a desktop that can handle basic processing tasks, since my laptop is getting too old to keep up.
